Love trees and plants? Want to improve your nature photography skills? Then join Sheffield photographer Fran Halsall for an online workshop.
On consecutive Saturday afternoons I tackle a different photographic subject in a 90-minute Zoom. Each session includes a five minute break in the middle, so you can get a cup of tea, and ten minutes for questions at the end. Workshops are suitable for all types of camera user unless otherwise indicated.

Perfect plant portraits

Learn the art of differential focus and controlling backgrounds to achieve perfect plant portraits. This session will also explore what kit I use and my shooting technique. Plus we will cover the possibilities and limitations of automatic and phone cameras.

Learn about seasonality and timing for plant and tree photography. This session will help you get the best out of natural lighting conditions, including when and how to use reflectors. Plus how to use shadows to your advantage.
