Making meadows and wildflower gardens
This online session is dedicated to making meadows and wildflower gardens. This will provide you with the knowledge you need to get sowing seed with confidence.
You will discover the natural inspiration for making biodiverse meadows and wildflower gardens; plant species selection for your garden’s conditions; various establishment methods; plus how and when to cut. By the end of the session you will feel confident in nuturing your own meadow project and, most importantly, how to create a valuable natural environment for a wide range of species.
Growing a wildflower meadow to creates a diverse feeding and nesting ground for insects, birds and small animals. The beautiful flowers and grasses, bursting with colour, will be an eye catching attraction in your garden.

The 90-minute, live, online session will be delivered by gardening and nature expert, Fran Halsall. During the session you can expect;

- How and when to cut
Each session is limited to 15 people to ensure quality and includes:
- Five-minute tea break half-way through
- Short Q&A at the end
- Recording of the Zoom meeting, to download and rewatch at your leisure
- PDF version of the tutorial to help you with your garden projects
